Our founder
Bob Shaw doesn’t do things halfway. In 2009, when most would consider retirement after a successful career in the flooring industry, Mr. Shaw decided to completely reimagine the way carpet is made and founded Engineered Floors, thus forever changing the industry with PureColor solution dyed fiber. Mr. Shaw has often said “We expect to be a player in the carpet business over a long period of time. Obviously, if you’re going into business, and business is a game, you play the game to win.” And that, “the latest innovation and technology has always been important to us. Whether it is carpet or LVT, our customers can expect high-quality, stylish products made with disruptive technology like solution-dyed PET or digital print LVT. We will continue to innovate.”
Innovation drives our founder and our vision for the future of flooring.
