The color in our PureColor carpet fibers is solution dyed. That means the color goes all the way through the fiber, so it won’t fade, wear off, or stain for the life of the carpet. The PureColor fibers are also imbued with Soilshield®, a soil and stain protection that is not only applied to the outside, but is inside each fiber as well.
The color on traditional carpet fibers is only skin-deep and sits only on the surface, like the red skin of a radish.
With PureColor, the color is built into the fiber, like the orange of a carrot.
